• The Rock Away Labor Day was a blast! It was a FREE event for charity at The State Capitol Building with diverse live music, 2 fashion shows, comedians, dance groups, face painting, raffles & more. Part of the proceeds will go towards learning toys or training tools to help families who in need. Autism is a developmental disorder that affects social and communication skills and, to a greater or lessor degree, motor and language skills. There is no known cause but it is more common in boys. Big up Dejah King for rockin’ with us and Monique Massey-Jefferson courtesy of MoJ Productions for allowing us to contribute to this charitable event!

• Krewe and Malachi’s Presents The 3rd Annual Capitol City Parade, Festival and Car Show 2012.  California Fig will be LIVE for this all day family fun FREE event. There will be vendors for food & games, live performances and plenty of fun for the family. Parade starts at 7:45. Festival is from 10:00am – 5pm. Mardi GRAS Ball 8pm – 11:30pm.
